Data deletion

Folio Reader's current core reading data is stored locally on your Android device rather than in a central user account.

Delete local app data

To remove local reading state, saved vocabulary, cached definitions and app preferences, use Android's app storage controls to clear Folio Reader's storage, or uninstall the app. Clearing app storage removes locally stored app data.

Export first

If you want to keep your vocabulary, use the app's export function before clearing storage or uninstalling.

Optional external processing

If you use optional AI explanations or other third-party services, those services may have their own data handling and retention rules. Review the relevant provider's policy for those features.
